Meet Your School Counselors!

Julia Jech, M.Ed

Grades 2-5

Ms. Jech is the full-time school counselor at Orchards. Ms. Jech is a National Certified Counselor and specializes in trauma and crisis response, anxiety and stress management, culturally sustaining practices, grief and loss, and students with special needs.

She loves to spend time outside with her husband and dogs, reading, and watching movies!

David Payette, M.Ed

Grades K-1

Hello All-Stars!  My name is Mr. Payette and this is my first year at Orchards Elementary School. While it's my first year here, I've been a School Counselor for 11 years.  I will be at Orchards on Mondays, Thursdays, and occasionally on Wednesdays.  I look forward to supporting students and families.  

In my free time, I enjoy playing with my dog, reading, playing golf, and going to see live music.
