Thank you for supporting our fundraiser on Donors Choose. Unfortunately, after it was approved and funded, Donors Choose rejected it because they are now only supporting virtual projects. We are trying again in a different format so that we can bring this program to our students!
Ms. Pollard has lead Chess for Success for many years and has instilled a love of chess in hundreds of students. Chess Club isn't just about learning how to play the game - it's about gaining confidence in your ability to think critically, strategize, and use math and logic. Chess also teaches students teamwork, good sportsmanship, perseverance and problem solving.
This year, Chess for Success is unable to offer a free grant for us to participate.
We will need to raise funds to keep Chess Club this year and want to try and keep it free or as low cost for our students as possible.
Can you help us bring Chess Club to our students?

Scholastic Book Fair!
We are going to have three Scholastic Book Fairs this year and are looking for volunteers to help with any of these tasks:
Set-up: Unbox inventory, assemble displays, and set up book tables
Assist shoppers during the Fair: Help students find books they like, write out wish lists for parents, and make recommendations.
Run the register/Cashier: Process sales using the Scholastic point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash, or scan student eWallets.
Restock shelves: Monitor popular titles and refill empty spots from inventory boxes.
Cleanup & Pack-Up: Box up leftover inventory, promotional materials, and display cases at the end of the event.
Book Fair dates:
December 14-18
April 19 - 23
June 7 - 11
